Minor Arcana · Cups
Two of Cups
Two people face each other and bring their cups almost together: meeting as equals, with respect running both ways.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Image and meaning
Two young people stand on level ground, each holding a cup, and one reaches across to touch the other's. Above them rises a staff with two coiled snakes and a winged lion's head. The scene can stand for mutual respect between any two people: partners, friends, colleagues, relatives. Each brings a full cup, and neither pours everything into the other. Closeness grows here from small exchanges in both directions, not from proving yourself.

Support. Being seen by someone you also see clearly, with the give-and-take in balance.
Worth noticing. Giving more than you have, as though closeness had to be earned.
A gentle step
Tell someone close one specific thing you value about them, and notice how it feels to say it.
Gently. This card mirrors your side of a bond; what another person feels or chooses is theirs to say.
