Major Arcana · XVII
The Star
A figure kneels at the water's edge and pours from two jugs without hurry: hope of the quiet, steady kind.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Image and meaning
A large yellow star shines among seven small white ones in a pale sky; below, water is poured back into the pool and out over the grass. Nothing here is forced. The card reads like the first easy breath after a hard stretch, with strength slowly returning. Giving and receiving happen in one motion, and you are allowed to take as well as pour.

Light and shadow
Support. A steady inner sense of what matters, easier to notice once the noise dies down.
Worth noticing. The fear that hoping again means setting yourself up for another letdown.
A gentle step
Sit by a window for two minutes and let your eyes rest on the sky, whatever the hour.
Gently. A lighter day is welcome, but it does not have to carry big plans; let your energy build before you spend it.
