The Moon
A calm face rests inside the moon while a pale path winds off between two towers: the way forward in half-light.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Image and meaning
A path runs on toward blue mountains, only partly in view, while a dog and a wolf howl up at the moon. This is how not-knowing can feel: in dim light the mind fills the gaps with pictures, and the frightening ones are often the most vivid. Fear here is a normal response, and a feeling can be entirely real without being a fact. One step onto ground you can actually see is enough for now.

Light and shadow
Support. The calm face above the noise: a part of you that can watch a fear without obeying it.
Worth noticing. The gap between what you know and what your imagination has filled in around it.
A gentle step
Take one worry and sort it into two piles: what you have seen with your own eyes, and what you are filling in.
Gently. Fears tend to look bigger late at night; if you can, leave weighty conclusions for daylight.
Across areas of life
- Relationships
- Filling a silence with guesses about what it means, and checking a fear before believing it.
- Work
- Unclear information and a mind that jumps to the worst case; one clarifying question may cut the worry down to size.
- Resources
- Rest and daylight as the simplest ways to thin the fog.
- About you
- Taking your own fear seriously without letting it make every decision.
