Minor Arcana · Pentacles
Queen of Pentacles
Under a bower of roses, the Queen gazes at the pentacle in her lap: practical care that makes a place feel safe.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Court card
It can be read as a role or a side of you. The Queen is the maturity to care for yourself, for others and for what matters.
Image and meaning
The Queen sits on a richly carved throne in a garden, roses arching overhead and a rabbit in the grass nearby. She holds the disc in both hands and looks at it closely, as if there were a great deal to see in something so ordinary. She may reflect a side of yourself or a role you hold: the one who tends body, home and people. Hands-on care can steady the giver as much as the receiver.

The suit of Pentacles: body, work and resources.
Light and shadow
Support. Warm, practical care, for others and for the body you live in.
Worth noticing. Looking after everyone's comfort so well that your own gets forgotten.
A gentle step
Make one small part of your space more comfortable today: a cleared corner, a plant, a softer light.
Gently. Care is a human skill rather than anyone's assigned role, and it includes care for yourself.
Across areas of life
- Relationships
- A shared meal, comfort at the right moment, and attention to each other's small needs.
- Work
- Making a workspace more humane, and competence offered with a caring touch.
- Resources
- Tending what keeps you going: rest, meals and a home that calms you.
- About you
- Treating your body as a place worth caring for, not only a tool for getting things done.
