Tarot spread · 3 cards
Ground · Reflect · Act
For moments of anxiety or tightness: first what you can lean on, then what is worth looking at gently, and last the smallest step. Only calmer cards land in the first and third places.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict
GroundWhat can you lean on right now?
ReflectWhat is worth looking at gently, without hurry?
ActWhat is the smallest step that feels manageable?
The cards open right on your device. The spread is shared by everyone for the day.
When it fits
For moments when you feel anxious, tight or as if everything is too big. The spread starts with what holds you and ends with the smallest step.
Only calmer cards land in the first and third places: heavy images never appear there.
Positions of the spread
Ground
What can you lean on right now?
Here the card shows a quality, a resource or a simple action you can lean on. This position always carries a line on how to come back into your body.
Reflect
What is worth looking at gently, without hurry?
Here the card shows not a task to solve urgently, but something asking for your attention. You can look at it at your own pace.
Act
What is the smallest step that feels manageable?
Here the card offers one doable action: not a plan or a promise to yourself. If even that feels big, it can be made smaller still.
How the spread goes
- If the anxiety is strong, first take a few breaths with the out-breath longer than the in-breath, or open Anti-Panic.
- Open the three cards and read them in order: ground, reflect, act.
- Take only what feels manageable from what you read. The rest can wait.
What this spread does not do
- It is no substitute for real help when things feel very hard: the SOS button is always close.
- It does not ask you to do everything at once: one small step is enough for today.
In the tarot tradition, for reflection. The card does not know the future and is no substitute for professional advice.
Other spreads
The cards are a prompt to pause and listen to yourself. In the tarot tradition, for reflection: the cards do not know the future and decide nothing for you. The texts are for reflection and entertainment and are no substitute for advice from a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial professional.
