Minor Arcana · Swords
Two of Swords
A blindfolded figure sits with arms crossed over the heart, a sword in each hand: balance held by effort.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Image and meaning
Behind the bench stretch water and a few rocks under a thin crescent moon, yet the figure sits with its back to all of it. Nothing moves and nothing is decided, and for now that may feel safer. Holding still can protect you while you gather strength. It also takes effort, so it helps to notice what the blindfold keeps out of view, and what wearing it costs.

Light and shadow
Support. Steadiness under tension: holding your ground while you take your time.
Worth noticing. A calm that lasts only as long as you avoid looking too closely.
A gentle step
Name the choice you are putting off, then jot down the worst, best and most likely result of each option.
Gently. Waiting can be a sound choice; naming a day to look again keeps it from quietly becoming a habit.
