Minor Arcana · Swords
Six of Swords
A ferryman poles a flat boat toward the far shore, six swords upright on board: a steady passage to calmer water.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Image and meaning
The ferryman works the pole slowly and evenly, while the two passengers sit and let themselves be carried. Behind the boat the water is rippled; ahead of it, the surface is smooth. The load is one the ferryman can manage. An inner transition can look like this: unhurried, supported and taking along only what the crossing needs.

Light and shadow
Support. Accepting help, and letting yourself be carried for a while.
Worth noticing. The belief that moving on only counts if you manage it entirely by yourself.
A gentle step
For two minutes, let your breath find an even rhythm, in and out at the unhurried pace of the ferryman's pole.
Gently. Moving on inwardly does not require any big outward change; this card speaks of an inner shift, at your own pace.
