Minor Arcana · Cups
Knight of Cups
A knight on a light gray horse rides at a walk, holding a cup forward like a gift: moving toward what you care about.
By Tarot tradition: a mirror, not a verdict

Court card
It can be read as a role or a side of you. The Knight is movement toward a goal and the choice of how to get there.
Image and meaning
The horse steps forward with its head lowered, and nothing in the picture hurries. Small wings rise from the rider's helmet and heels, and a winding stream crosses the ground in front. The Knight can be your own impulse to move toward what you love with an offer in hand: an invitation, an apology, a creative idea. Sincerity matters more here than boldness, and the slow pace is part of its grace.

Light and shadow
Support. The quiet courage to share something sincere, with no need for grand gestures.
Worth noticing. Waiting for the perfect moment to show a feeling, until the moment slips by.
A gentle step
Choose one thing to give, such as a message, an invitation or an idea, and offer it simply, without polishing it first.
Gently. Strong feeling is a fine reason to approach and a poor reason to rush; big emotional decisions can wait for a calmer day.
